I know FLOW-3D can simulate the melting process. But I couldn't find a melting model in the user manual. Does this mean the melting process can be simulated using the solidification model? Thanks!

HI James i'm also interested in melting process, do you have any step by step doc to simulate the melting modeling?

Hi,ck:
I don't have such a doc. I am starting to use FLOW-3D to do melting modeling. I think melting is the reverse process of solidification. So as long as you activate the solidification model, you can model both melting and solidification. When I have any successon this, I will tell you. |
