How should I enter the 3D STL file into the software so that the software recognizes it as a fluid?
Also, what are the best boundary conditions and physics of the problem for the simulation of melting?

You can import fluid region as STL in INITIAL window

Thank you for response. I use Flow.Science.FLOW-3D.11.0.4 software.
Can you explain more?
