How to model melting of a 3D STL object in flow-3d

How should I enter the 3D STL file into the software so that the software recognizes it as a fluid?
Also, what are the best boundary conditions and physics of the problem for the simulation of melting? |

You can import fluid region as STL in INITIAL window
