Hello, is it possible to calculate the amount (volume or...) of sediments entering from the main channel to the secondary channel (lateral intake) in flow 3d software?
It is assumed that the bed and walls of the main and secondary channels are non-erodible, and the flow is modeled with bed sediments. The purpose of trial and error is to find the optimal angle of the sub-channel in the condition that the least amount of sediment enters the lateral intake? |

Hi. In available output options, suspended sediment concentration can be selected at required cross sections to estimate sediment concentration.
