Dear members of the CFD-online forum,

I am a researcher working on fluid mechanics simulations using Flow3D 11.2. I am currently trying to simulate reciprocating flow, but I am not sure how to set up the appropriate conditions for this type of simulation.

So far, I have only been able to set up constant velocity inlet conditions, which is not suitable for my purposes. Therefore, I am seeking guidance and advice from experts in the forum on how to set up reciprocating flow conditions and periodic boundaries in Flow3D 11.2 for accurate simulation results.

If you have any insights or practical tips and suggestions to offer, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance for your support and assistance.

Best regards,
