Hellow everyone,
I'm now working on the vortex induced vibration of submarine pipelines. I want to study the VIV characteristics of the pipeline, but when I set the gravity of the pipeline to be equal to the gravity of water, the pipeline will sink, and this will make subsequent analysis inaccurate. I can't find a value that will make the pipeline still in water. I wish anyone could help me. |

Quote:
If by geometry > density, u need to use the formula, density = mass of the pipe (kg) / volume of the pipe (m3). |
