How to choose ISO surface value for FAVOR geometry

I wanted to see if anyone had a method/are there any standards for choosing the ISO surface value in the FAVOR tab. When I choose cell size for the mesh, I can base that on how many cells it will have to process and the associated run time, but right now I feel that I am basing my ISO surface value on what other FLOW 3D HYDRO examples chose and just how it visually renders.
Is there a better way to inform the choice of this value? Should it always be greater than the cell size? And should I be adjusting this value as I change cell size or keep it constant? I am doing submerged breakwater simulations, but my "breakwaters" are more heterogeneous than a typical one. Thank you! |
