Hello everyone, I am a beginner in flow 3d, I am doing bridge scour.
I want to ask: 1. How can I find the maximum scour depth around the pier from the flow 3d? 2. How to create scour depth against time graph? 3. How to create a top view with contour to show the scour depth? Your kind help and advice are most appreciated. This is how my model look like |

>Create probes and monitor the flow depth/elevation or maximum depth. Ensure hydraulic data is enabled in the outputs
>In POST look at the max depth location and create a line graph associated with a line for plotting. It will be for that point. >You can add contour levels as marked annotations or change the colour bands (colour by flow depth or elevation) |

Thank you for replying
So basically I should create a history probes near the pier like the picture 1 ? If yes, how should i know which point will be the maximum scour ? After that, how should i monitor the flow depth/elevation or maximum depth, i can plot flow depth, maximum flow depth and free surface elevation separately as showing in the picture 2 and 3. But the value is not what i expected. |
