Hello folks,
I was working on my graduation thesis and Im using flow3D. I was modelling 0,5m cube with 4m free lenght mooring lines. Problem is when I run the solver, after 2-3 mins of at %6 ... program says '' Abnormal Exit From Solver'' . There is no error in warning window. Just saying '' Abnormal Exit From Solver''. If you can help me about this problem I would be happy. Have a nice day. |

Hi. I have encountered this error while i was working on spillway, not on mooring lines. This error was common in Flow 3D v 9.3. The main reasons i found and able to run the model were:
1) Wrong initial / boundary conditions 2) Very tight mesh to handle i.e. very fine mesh run on PC which has low hardware specifications as required for the simulation |
