Hi Dear Flow3D users,
I have a linked open channel system (one main and one diversion channel) and I need to specify diversion discharge (as if there is a pump at the outlet). I tried to specify an outflow discharge but there is no such option. How can I do this? Does a negative volume flow rate at outflow work? Thank you for your help. |

Hi niko35,
I think there are a few options for what you describe. 1) You can use a volume flow rate boundary type with the flow direction vector specified in the direction that pulls it out of the domain. 2) You could also apply a mass momentum source near your boundary that would act as a sink and draw flow from the model. Good luck. Let me know if you have trouble getting it to work. |
