I want to do a scour analysis in a serpentine channel. I was just wondering how can I set up the mesh domain around the structure.
Attaching a picture of the serpentine channel. Any lead will be appreciated. |

Hi Nawnit,
You can use conforming mesh to built specific mesh shape. |

Hi. Well as the mesh in Flow 3D is Orthogonal, so when you prepare 3D of channel geometry, you might prepare a solid square sheet around your channel (see below picture of siphon & channel flowing together). The water shall only flow through the channel path and rest of the geometry will act as solid barrier.
