Hi everyone, my research field is dynamics of liquid sloshing in satellites. After the incentive(such as the relationship between velocity and time ) is given ,flow3d can solve the sloshing force and shaking torque produced by liquid.
But in the real situation, this sloshing force and torque will also change the motion state about the satellites. My question is : how to use the sloshing force and torque to change the dynamic state about this model. In other words, how to combine cfd results and my own dynamic model to coupling calculate in flow3d. (someone has done the same thing with fluent, but the computational efficiency is very low, about 20 seconds of physical time to calculate more than 5 hours) |

Hello thunderc,
My name is Wang Lu, a student of ZJU. From your thread, I know your research field is about satellites which I am studying ,too. I am a new learner of FLOW-3D, so that I am really puzzle about the software.I really hope that I can know you and discuss with you. Best wishes for you! Wang Lu |
