In flow3d, How is sediment species flow rate through flux surface and mass of suspended/packed sediment species through sampling volume is calculated?
I am trying to do modelling of a settling basin, where I have defined flux surface in inlet and sampling volume in de-sander zone. The mass of suspended and packed sediment species in de-sander zone obtained is more than 10times the mass of sediment that passes through inlet which is derived from flux surface.
