Hello, everyone.
I am working on the simulation of laser welding by using the ray tracing method to calculate the multiple-reflection in the keyhole, but I don't know how to get the surface normal vector in FLOW-3D. So how can I know the surface normal vector at the location of reflection? Thanks in advance. |

You can use the subrutine srfnorm to obtian the normal vector of the free surface, format:
call srfnorm(f,ijk,snormx,snormy,snormz,sar,leneax,0) |
