Hi, i am running a simulation of ship maneuvering that attached with rudder.
Hull was applied with force x-axis while rudder applied with angular velocity at z-axis. When running the simulation it shows pressure iteration diverging and simulation stops. What is the problems causing this? when without rudder the simulation can be done but after attached with rudder it shows this problem. Any advice to this problem? Thank you. |

Try the following in the Convergence Controls window of the Pressure solver options in the numerics tab:
1. Increase the maximum number of pressure iteration 2. Increase the dynamically adjusted convergence criterion 3. Try both 1 and 2 together 4. Increase the GMRES subspace size |
