Can anyone tell me which equations are used for transport of suspended sediment?

I have a model setup where i am simulating deposition of sediment in a reservoir. As velocities in the model are very low there is no scope of erosion and bed load transport. I am aware of equations used for transport of bedload i.e. Meyer peter Muller.
Can anyone please tell me which equation is used for transport of incoming suspended sediment load.

A (general) transport equation is solved for the transport of suspended sediments, which is pretty much like other transport equations such as the one for scalars. However, the velocity in the equation is Vsus. = Vfluid + Vsettling

In other words, the only difference between the velocity of sus. sediment and fluid is the settling velocity of sediment.

Cheers,
