Hello to everyone,
I have a problem with my two fluids simulation. I'm trying to simulate an exhaust from a normal car. Simplifying the model, is like a pipe with some special geometry. So it seems easy to do apparently.. In my case the principal inlet is from a mass-momentum source at the beggining of the exhaust (Fluid 1) which is gas at 500ºC aprox. At the end of the exhaust there is atmospheric pression so at boundary condition of the final mesh block I putted this pression and "fluid fraction 0" (Fluid 2) which is air at atmospheric pressure and 20ºC. The problem becomes, when “Excessive pressure iteration failures - calculation terminated” error appears. The picture below is a model with which I do some test, It is not the exhaust which I have to simulate. I have searched for the error at the manual and I have checked the initial conditions and boundary conditions but I'm not able to find the problem. Anyone can help me please? Thanks a lot!! |
