Hi everyone,
I am trying to set-up my ship sailing in straight line in flow-3d. But unfortunately, it was not successful where ship will sailing to left or right side after few second. In setting of moving object setting, translation X and Y were set as coupled motion where translation set as prescribed motion; rotation of x and y set as prescribed motion where rotation z set as couple motion. Therefore,I would like to ask is there any solution know why the ship unable sailing in straight line? Thanks in advance. Last edited by William Chai; May 23, 2017 at 19:26. |

In model setup, only single ship import and there's no wave involved during the simulation.

hi, all motion model of your ship should be 'described' and only the translation direction is assigned velocity and the rests are kept default or zero |
