hello Dear friends
i've been working on sediment scour caused by submerged jet, i've got the wide range for sediment scour parameters e.g. critical schields, bedload coefficient, entrainment coefficient,..., as far as i know, getting “ good results” should not lead to the violation of the physics. otherfore, i need to know the acceptable range for the entrainment coefficient as i got it equal to 1 in my work and the results are nearly good, but i'm concerned because this mentioned value does not fall within the acceptable range(physical range). also, i searched this issue on documentation & manual of flow-3D, but, i did not succeed to find it. i well know that default value is 0.018. But it, in what range could be located? if there are references about the acceptable range, please introduce them. Maybe anybody can help me! best regards hamid Last edited by hamidciv; May 11, 2017 at 03:35. |
