Goodmorning everybody, i'm new and i'm civil and hydraulic engineering student; i'm writing here because i've few problem with the inflow on my simulation.
I'm simulating a physic model of a street with grates to define the efficently of these grates (a ratio of captured flow to total flow approaching), relative to the carateristichs of flow approaching to it and to the geometry of the grates and the street. On the grates approach a perfect horizontal lamina of water generated by a tank with a pump (all has been made to create steady and uniform flow). I have a problem because, and don't know why, the pump NEVER reaches 100 l/s (i have to simulate with 100 l/s), but has few oscillations througth 90-97 l/s. how i can fix this problem? for sure i don't want to put for example 105 l/s, because it would be like a trick, i prefer fix the problem and not to avoid it. thanks in advance to everyone, Andrea |
