Dear experts,
I would like to simulate a situation where I use 88 mesh blocks to model precisely a flow field as an inlet boundary condition. That works out in a other case with 62 mesh blocks. However, the console says "abnormal exit from postprocessor" after successfully (at least it looks like) performing the simulation with 88 mesh blocks. Starting the analysis ends up in a pop-up saying "Failed to generate results file information". Furthermore, the data cannot be used as restart data, the console says "error opening restart source file" - "error code 22".

I started to decrease the block number and figured out that the problem vanishes as soon as the mesh block number becomes 78 or less.

Does anyone of you experience that problem or does anyone know how to solve this? Plese keep in mind: Yes, I really need that 88 blocks ;-)

Thanks a lot in advance

Hi,

If you upload the files I will check it. Donīt forget the geometry and the .prepin file.

Regards.

Sorry for not replying quite a long time.
Although the problem still exists, I found a way to reduce the mesh block number for the problem I investigate. In this case, it works out for me.
Sending all my simulation files would overload your mailbox
Anyhow, thanks a lot for your offer and help.

Best regards
