I am simulating the process of laser heating powders, using heatfl for customization. The energy deposition is concerned to the free surface geometry, but manual gives limited fortran variables about free surface. Would anyone give more details, like surface orientation(normal or tangential) ? Thanks

i think the variable "free surface elevation" is what you want. hyel is used to express the free surface elevation. however, i can't apply the hyel in my code. maybe we can have some discuss to solve the problem.
