I have a 2D simulation setup. z-direction is one cell wide and gravity is acting in -ve z-direction. Flow is coming from X-min and outflow boundary is at X-max.
Does the fluid force in this case represent Force per unit length or is it Force per length of the z-axis?

The 2nd query: I have prescribed a known hydrostatic pressure at the y boundaries (static pressure) in order to aid the simulation pressure convergence. Is this correct?

Due to 2D cross-sectional domain being at certain water depth the hydrostatic pressure is imposed on y.

Any comment will be greatly appreciated.
Regards
