Hi guys, I'm new to both these forums and Flow-3D, so please be patient.
My college project involves validating a CFD package (I chose F3D) sediment scour/deposition models by reproducing other people's experiments (published in articles) and then applying them to a still-unkown problem. The first article I'm trying to reproduce is about erosion and the end result is a flow rate x volume of removed material curve (experimental is given, computational is not). Grain size distribution, density, test bed geometry and incoming flow rate are known. The thing is: how can I know the total volume of sediments removed from the domain? I haven't seen such option anywhere. |
