I am trying to model liquid atomization and primary breakup in a converging- diverging nozzle using FLOW 3D. The geometry is attached below. It is a cross flow of water on a high speed jet combustion vapor. To start with am trying to model a cold flow simulation of water- air, which would create a spray at the exit. There are two parts for it, first is the primary atomization of liquid to vapor and then the formation of spray. I am more interested in the first part of the process. How should i go about modeling this in FLOW3d? Is it possible to model in Flow 3D? In my initial research, i can see that Flow 3D can be used for stratified and slug flow sort of fluid models.
