Hello,
I have a problem with a restart simulation. first, i start a simulation with a solid bed. After that, i want to start a restart simulation from the last timestep and i want to change the "solid" bed in "packed sediment" bed. Now, when i look in the display, the packed sediment bed appears to be gone, there is just nothing. Does somebody know how to fix this? ps: i am using v.11 thank you |

I tried this with v11.0.3 (patch release) and I don't have any problem changing a solid component to a packed bed component when doing a restart.
Check the subcomponent in the packed bed component - you must define the sediment distribution in the subcomponent, not the component, starting in v11+. Also there can be only one sediment-type component. Could that be the problem? The one sediment component can have more than one subcomponent, and each subcomponent can have a different sediment distribution. |
