Dear forum members,
I have a simulation with air and water interaction. during this simulation a water spray forms (tiny splashes of water and air) that seem to cause simulation to stop (iteration did not converge). I am using a quite a dense mesh and further reducing the size of cells could become a bit to difficult to my machine. Maybe someone could suggest a way around the problem with splashing water? Best regards, Paulius |

First try making your initial conditions match your boundary conditions so that fluid isn't splashing at the beginning. If you already tried that, then try Model Setup > Numerics tab > VOF Methods > Advanced Options > Fluid Fraction Cleanup (FCLEAN) = 0.15. That will delete any fluid regions where all connected cells with fluid have < 15% fluid in them. In other words, it will delete droplets.
