hi everyone, this is Jason and i am a newer in using Flow3D.
My question is how can i simulate the ship wave by Flow3D. Now, i have two models. The first is ship sails in the calculation domain with/without accerlation and finally with a constant speed ahead. The second is the ship is calm and fluid flow past it with a speed. Now,i am sure that the first model can export traditional ship waves and Kalvin angle,19.5 degrees. but the calculation domain is extremely large and nodes is more than 10 million, export file is more than 500Gb. The second model can not produce Kalvin angle and the water elevation with regard time does not look like ones i get in google scholor. the above description is what i met in the past few months. Can anyone give me suggestion on how to imporve my model, on the first to reduce export result file or on the second to get correct results. Many thank to every reply or skip my message . thanks again |
