I'm trying to find out if there is a way to output results data from Flow 3D automatically after the simulation has run rather than manually. The reason i'm asking is that I'm currently working on a project to link flow 3d with another software package that specialises in design optimisation. As part of the linking process all desired outputs must be generated at runtime and made available to the software before it terminates flow 3D.
What I'd like to know is if there is a way to setup the prepin file to generate outputs files (text, images etc.) automatically based what can be done manually or if there are command line arguments/batch arguments that can be used to perform the same tasks? |

Concerning Flow3D, it is not possible to run postprocessing in batch mode - as far as I know. You can use the flsinp.*-files for repeated postprocessing, but initiation of rendering is still interactive. The only way of full automization will require customization. Maybe FlowSight offers additional capabilities.
