I simulate a gravity casting。In the simulation,I use particles model to model foreign inclusions in liquid metals .But I want to a fixed particles number of 2400,but I set the rate of genaration as 2400,but it produce large than 2400 or less than 2400.How can I set to get a fixed number.

Use a particle block instead of a source. The source makes new particles and rate is #/second. The block only makes the particles only once at t = 0.

thank you for your reply.I will try later. But I have a new problem .when I use particle model to simulate slag.In the course of filling and solidification,I find some particles out of range of casting. How I to do can avoid it?
