Dear All,
I simulated solidification of Ductile iron (GGG40) using FLOW-3D Cast. All information about the physical properties of austenite, carbide and graphite (like density) were entered into the software. I expected to see yield and UTS stress, ferrite and pearlite and graphite distribution at the end of solidification. Unfortunately, amount of graphite and carbide percentage were negative and was not distributed in all the cast uniformly in post processor. Besides, I couldn't find any results about prediction of mechanical properties and microstructure of cast (yield, UTS, ferrite, pearlite...). I was wondering if you could help me to find my answers. Best Wishes. |
