Default Force calculation in dynamic FloEFD analysis

Hi,
How is the force value acting on cylinder calculated in 2D simulation of dynamic phenomena like von Karman vortex? Pressure on segment of element in the flow stream changes but it seems not to be expected p * A what acts on the surface.
