Hi! How to display incident radiative flux from one source to another. For example from lamp to surface?

Hi Aleksandr,

it is not possible to have a surface plot or surface parameter where you select only the radiation coming from a specific surface/source and hitting this surface.
If you used the monte carlo radiation model you can use the ray visualization to see how the rays reach a specific surface or how they bounce starting at one surface ending at another.

Look at this presentation. Slide number 56. "lamp incident radiation flux [W/m2]"

This model is very simple with just one lamp (or radiation source) and it is probably a user-defined visualization parameter where simply the net radiant flux and the leaving radiant flux was used to calculate the incident radiant flux and then the name was given with "lamp" in it.
There is no such parameter by default and this would only work in general if there is no other radiation in the model. If there are two radiation sources such as two lamps and you would like to know how much radiation is arriving at that surface from only one of the lamps, then this would not be possible in this way as the net and leaving radiation rate considers all radiation and not just from a specific object.

Regards,
Boris
