Hi guys,
Does anyone know how to create or model the heat pipes by using the smart part feature ? From my understanding, previous heat pipe modelling without smart part introduced by flotherm is built by drawing a long cuboid and setting it at very high thermal conductivity (e.g copper-water heat pipes with 4000W/mK) Thank you. |

Hello,
The help docs say: " Creating a Heat Pipe A Heat Pipe SmartPart is a point in space, therefore, heat pipes are physically modeled by adding Network Cuboid SmartParts. Procedure
P.S.2: the netwrok cuboids are just to define the shape. The behavior of the heatpipe is defined in the heatpipe "Construction" sheet. Hope it helps, Gabriel |
