Hi,
In hexpress you can export your .igg mesh to other formats. I want to export my mesh to the fluent format so I can import it easily in OpenFoam. If I export the mesh in HEXPRESS to Fluent, a *.grd and *.vmap file is created. Fluent grids have *.msh as extension! Why is numeca generating files with the wrong extension? Anyone faced the same problem? regards, Cenzo |

From Hexpress user manual :
"This Fluent export functionality is available to the user via menu Project/Export.../Fluent. An ASCII file is saved in the directory and with the project name specified by the user as ’project_name.grd’. The format of this exportation complies with Fluent 6.3. " |
