How solver works?i.e. after solver starts how it calculates values of pressure and velocity?does it initially take all values zero? This is as i have observed when solver is running?

hi john solver is just like tool to solve prob numerically. in the code which ever direction u have given it will follow the same. for ex. if u gave intialisation zero in code, every time when u run the solver it will start with zero values. but most of the times this wont be the better initialization.u can use better guess. for examaple
if u have values at Re=1000 (reynolds number) u can use this values as initial guess for Re=2500 . what u observed is in that solver developed like every time that will take zero as initial guess |
