Hi all; I want to model some kinds of cavitation. Is Fine software able to model cavitation? Is a VOF algorithm included in its model? Thanks!

Hi,
In the next version of FINE, there will be a cavitation model. It is actually being developped and validated by a French research center (LEGI), in partnership with SNECMA Rocket division, and NUMECA integrates it in its FINE suite. Some papers have already been published about the method used and show preliminary results of this model. Regards, Bruno |

There might be some free softwares for cavitation modelling. I would suggest you to check out acoustical society of america's website.
