Hello,
I am using Fine Turbo 14.2. I imported CAD file in Autogrid 5. I heard that there is a possibility to write out geomTurbofile from the imported CAD File. How can export geomTurbo file from the imported CAD File? Thanks in advance! Best regards Last edited by ulugbey; December 4, 2021 at 18:54. |

Hi,
It is indeed possible to export to a geomTurbo file as described in detail in the user guide in the dedicated section of the Geometry definition chapter. Btw, you may want to update your installation to 16.1 as the version 14.2 is quite outdated. Best regards, Colinda |

hi;
Simply right click on the imported blade on the Autogrid screen and select export option. a window will appear which allows you modify settings of the exported geometry such as number of sections, number of points on each side, etc.. Before exporting the geometry, make sure that your imported blade has intersections with hub and shroud curves and inlet and outlet boundaries are generated at its upstream and downstream. Best |
