Hello,
My domain includes an impeller pump and its volute. For steady simulations, I deal with non-matching connections in Hexpress to rotor-stator interfaces (the volute and one blade passage of the pump). Then, in Fine\Open, I can set rotational speed and I can access to Rotor/Stator tab in rotating machinery parameters and so on... For unsteady simulations, I do the same procedure in Hexpress for the non-matching connections (but between the volute and a 360 deg impeller - 6 blades), but it is impossible to set and check Rotor/stator tab in FINE/open: this tab is in grey and not available. With multiple output files for post-processing, I get a snap file and I can see the time steps passing (with TIme Label) but the rotor is not rotating, even with a physical time step large enough (time step 0.002 s for a impeller spinning at 700 rpm) I can't access to the Rotor/Stator tab on the Rotating Machinery page setting in FINE/open, and I can't specify the rotor/stator connections (something I can do only while using fewer blade passages). Thus, the Number Of Angular Positions does not appear either. Is this linked to the fact the rotor is still in CFview? Thank you for your comments! AL |
