hi,everyone,
when i use Numeca>Autogrid5 to generate grids for turbine, i meet the problem that "main blade: trailing edge does not intersect shroud", i find There is a gap between blade and shroud in fact, so, how can I extend the length of the blade to intersect shroud in Autogrid5 ?any advise? thank you very much! |

hi;
It has a simple solution! on the rows list on left side of AG5 right click on "main blade" then select "geometry" and then "expand". By adjusting expansion factor you can let the blade intersect both shroud and hub curves which is necessary for meshing in AG5. Note that depending on your software version the way you can get the "expand" option may be a little different! |
