Hello all,
Its a bit silly question, but I am having difficulty in plotting limiting streamlines on solid surfaces in CFView. Actually I am unable to find this option. Also I am unable to plot streamline starting from a surface in a uniform way, by putting seeds on it. I am able to generate streamlines from a section(using Representation>streamline>section), but I would like to generate uniform streamlines from say inlet plane. Can anyone please help me. Thank you!! Kind Regards, Vishwas |

Hi;
Regarding the limiting streamlines, prior to run you should select viscous stress icon from "solid data" tab of computed variables from "Output" menu in FINE/TURBO solver. then in Cfview all you need is to plot vector lines of viscous stress. you can manage its appearance and set the number of streamlines. e.g. 10 streamlines along the blade height. regards |
