Defining 2D Temperature Profile for two inlet patches

Hi,
I am trying to simulate a 2D temperature profile at the turbine inlet. I am using two stator and three rotor channels for my simulation. Unfortunately, when I define the temperature profile at inlet, Fine/Turbo only simulate that profile for only one stator channel and the second stator channel shows average temperature instead of the defined 2D temperature profile. I have tried out both theta positions from AutoGrid and CFView but still the results are same. I have even tried to split the inlet into two patches and then defined separately the 2D temperature profile for each patch but still the results are same. I am not able to simulate 2D temperature profile for two flow channels. Are there any suggestions to handle this issue? This particular issue appears with the mesh file having zr techno effects, for the mesh having no zr techno effects i am able to simulate temperature profile for both channels. I have attached few pictures for the problem. Last edited by afzaal; April 13, 2017 at 06:54. |
