Hello,
Currently i am anylizing centrifugal compressor stage (impeller+return channel). In .MF file there are global average results at inlet of impeller, outlet of return channel and also at rotor/stator interface. I wonder if it's possible to get aditional average results of any selected area (f.e at impeller outlet or somewhere in diffuser) ? |

Dear Piotr,
I think this is not possible. But you can obtain the needed information in CFView. Therefore I recommend to generate an IJK Surface (CTRL-z). Now you can specify the direction of the surface and on the right hand side of the window the domain, where the surface should be generated. Click “Apply” for preview and “Save” to generate the surface. Now you find this surface in the upper left corner of the GUI, it should be named like “D3.K=0.333333”. You can select the quantity you are interested in now, then go to “Representations” -> “Integrals”. There click “Scalar Average”. Now the scalar average of the selected flow variable is printed in the lower right corner of the GUI. If you are interested in the mass flow just click on the mass flow button in the Integrals section. Best regards Holger |
