Hello,
im using autogrid for mesh generation of a multi-stage axial compressor. I want to mesh the rows seperately and merge the cgns files afterwards. Is there a feature in autogrid/igg which supports this? |

hi,
why do you need to have the rows meshed separately? do you want to use another solver? in case you use other solvers you can import cgns of all rows together. |

If you have 2 AutoGrid5 meshes, you have two mesh projects saved as *.igg.
In IGG you can open one of the two project files *.igg and then use File/Import IGG Project and select your second mesh project. In this way you can combine them, adjust the boundary conditions (rotor/stator interface) and save it as one project. But I join the previous post in wondering why you would wish to do so though as you can save all in one AutoGrid5 project right-away. |
