Hello all,

I'm working on a small project, and I'm not that familiar with all Numeca's functionality and tricks.

I've got this:

Code:
-------------------------------------------------
    SCRIPT FOR MESH QUALITY CHECK IN HEXPRESS
-------------------------------------------------

MESH QUALITY CHECK REPORT

>>> Domain: export_cf

> 2115936 cells
> Number of negative cells = 0
> Number of concave cells  = 0
> Number of twisted cells  = 0

--- ORTHOGONALITY ---
  Min     Max     Average    Standard deviation
12.80   90.00       80.13                  9.37

--- ASPECT RATIO ---
  Min     Max     Average    Standard deviation
 1.00  438.01       14.71                 22.61

--- EXPANSION RATIO ---
  Min     Max     Average    Standard deviation
 1.00   11.19        1.39                  0.39

> Computed quality color code: YELLOW
> Mesh quality is satisfying, but it could be improved

> Reason(s):
- Minimum Orthogonality: 12.80
-> Solution: increase Minimum Orthogonality to 15 degrees

- Maximum Expansion Ratio: 11.19
-> Solution: decrease Maximum Expansion Ratio to 5

------------------------------------
     MESH QUALITY CHECK IS OVER
------------------------------------
I studied the user manuals, and I can't find something related on how to fix the mesh.
Every issue propose a solution, therefore, my question would be, how to do it?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

Actually a minimum orthogonality of 12.8 deg is quite a good value already. As long as it is higher than 5 deg, no problem.
