Hi All,
I am new to this forum but have been lurking around. I am trying to evaluate a set of hulls 8,5m long, in both smooth water (using something based of the DTMB tutorial) and with the intention to also do this in some waves. The absolute main concern is resistance. Is there a tutorial for this or an example case set up for the waves case? (the smooth water one is done/understood) Kind regards Elastic Sparrow |

Hi,
I don't know any tutorials but I think you might find some guidelines here : http://www.numeca.com/en/resources/c...ion-simulation You then have a link to paper. Besides, in your FineMarine folder, in _data/isis/Src there is a spreadsheet called setup_for_wave_generation that should help you. |

Many thanks, will give that a try.
When looking around I found two different papers on their site, links below. http://www.numeca.com/sites/numeca/f...n_-_onr_1_.pdf and http://www.numeca.com/sites/numeca/f..._et_al._1_.pdf Kind regards Elastic Sparrow |
