Hello,
defining a refinement box in the domain by clicking two corner points on the screen is in some occasions not very convenient when you want to have your box at a specific location. Are there alternative ways for definition by typing the coordinates of the two corner points? Or even better import an stl-file that defines the refinement region? Regards, Tim |

Dear Tim,
When you have selected to create a new box, you can left-click in the section at the bottom (just below the black bar) that indicates: Enter >> With the cursor in this line you can then type the x y and z coordinates separated by a blank space and confirmed by pressing Enter. Then you can type the coordinates of the second point in the same way. Alternatively you could write a tiny macro containing the command: create_refinement_cube(x1, y1, z1, x2, y2, z2) but probably through the GUI on the Enter line is easiest. |
