CaseMap Issue (Strange spots with abnormal values)

I am currently trying to casemap results of Fluent/Star-CCM+ cases onto a separately meshed surface (e.g. trying to casemap velocity results onto a piece of land with its topography modelled). In the said example, the piece of land would display results generally fine, except for random spots with abnormal values that do not make any sense (the green spots on the hills in the attached picture).
Has anyone run into something like this before? If yes how should I go about solving it? Thanks a lot. Note: if I visualise the results simply by using the clip function, the visualisation would be just fine without these spots. These spots also don't exist if I try to view the results in Fluent/Star-CCM+. Last edited by homan95; May 6, 2021 at 23:21. |
