Hello guys, I think I need your help.
I’m working with OpenFOAM and I want to try EnGrid. I have two questions about it First: Where to find good information how to use the program? I only found on tutorial on Youtube from Calum Douglas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwSXldG3ank&t=315s Second: The tutorial sounds good for me but the programm just doesn’t do what he says. For example he says right at the beginning to press p to open a window but nithing happens on my own Computer. Do others/ you also have the same problem? I ran it as an administrtor I joined all parts to a single part I saved it as binary .stl -file (ASCII-option deactivateted, so I think its binary) The text on the right side of EnGrid says the following: secs. for class IOOperation: 53 cleaning STL geometry: tolerance = 1e-010 The STL geometry seems to be clean. secs. for class CorrectSurfaceOrientation: 0 removing 'stray' nodes deleting 0 nodes! secs. for class DeleteStrayNodes: 0 marking non-manifold edges done. updating node information ... done. swapping edges for surface triangles ... loop 1/1 sub-loop 1: 0 swaps secs. for undefined: 0 updating node information ... done. secs. for class FixCadGeometry: 0 secs. for class IOOperation: 11 OnChar p OnChar s --> This is doing nothing... Any Ideas? Thank you in advance! Last edited by SimonStar; April 24, 2020 at 10:15. |
