Hi all,
I want to import an STL file to engrid, but when I try to do it, engrid crashes before loading the file. I do not think that the problem is in the file because when I open it in SALOME, GMSH or SnappyHexMesh it works without any problem.

I would be grateful if anybody knew how to solve it.
Thank you in advanced,
Marina

I am not 100% sure if this is the solution but in EN-Grid you should import binary-stl-files while the others need ASCII-stl-files.

It can be that its crashing if you import ASCII-stl-files.

If you were importing ASCII-stl-files you shold try to export the files again from your CAD-Programm as binary.
