Greetings Boling and welcome to the forum!
AFAIK, the PDF version of the enGrid manual hasn't been updated in a very long time. The closest thing there is right now is the wiki: https://github.com/enGits/engrid/wiki But are you planning on updating the manual in PDF format? If so, I can have a look into how it should be compiled/created. Best regards, Bruno

Hi everyone,
I have just sucessfully cloned and compiled the pdf manual from git (master branch) using the texlive package from the apt and the Kile editor. The only problem I still have is that it ignores the \iflanguage condition and compiles the first pages with both, the German and the British names. I still have to check how to fix that because I have not yet worked with those if commands in latex. I noticed however that the manual on the git is somehow poorer than the one that linked by Bruno since it does is lacking some contents like the section on compilation and installation and the background section. I also noticed that the references are missing at the end of the document, which could mean that it was only compiled once. This can usually be avoided by compiling the document twice. I find engrid an incredible piece of a freeware CFD mesher and I would like to contribute somehow to it. I have a rather basic knowledge of the CFD and programming but my goal is to develop them. Maybe I could start by contributing to the manual, which I think would be a good exercise in order to get better acquainted with the interface. Are there any ideas for the priorities about the manual? Regards, Nejc |

Greetings Nejc and welcome to the forum!
AFAIK, the manual has been discontinued. The current focus is on the wiki at Github: https://github.com/enGits/engrid/wiki Hopefully the instructions at https://github.com/enGits/engrid/wiki#how-to-help can be of use on ways to help! Best regards, Bruno
